Suspected stalker arrested overnight

Santa Barbara Police Officers have arrested a man who was wanted for reportedly stalking and threatening a local woman.

Officers caught up with 45-year-old Casey Wadsworth early Wednesday morning. Investigators say when the victim tried ending her friendship with Wadsworth, he called her repeatedly and threatened her life and those of her co-workers. A gun had been used on some of those occasions.

Wadsworth was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail early Wednesday morning, on suspicion of making criminal threats and stalking. He's being held on $500,000 bail.
