The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation for the area South of Rice Ranch Road and Stubblefield Rd.
The area includes Via Alta North to El Cerrito and South into the Unocal Oilfield. Reverse 911 have been issued.
The Sheriff's Office is also in the process of doing door to door evacuation notifications.
There is also a precautionary evacuation issued for the area of Highway 135 on the west, Clark Avenue to the North, Highway 101 on the East and the southbound area is where it comes into the mandatory evacuation area. Approximately 925 reverse 911 residents are included in this area.
The fire is at 50-75 acres. The spread of the fire has stopped. Officials say no injuries have been reported.
