Marian golf tournament raises money for new hospital

Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria is hosting a golf tournament that will benefit Marian's Cornerstone Campaign to build a new hospital.

The 21st Annual Leland "Butch" Simas and Felix Fly, M.D., Memorial Golf Tournament is being held Monday, March 29, at the Santa Maria Country Club.

Event registration begins at 9 a.m. and the shotgun event tee off will take place at 10 a.m.

The $225 entry fee includes the green fee, cart, lunch, tee prizes, and the Victory Award Reception with a chance to win a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado Crew Cab.

There are only a few remaining spots left to join the tournament.
