Marian Medical Center founder dies

One of the founders of Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria died last night at the Marian Convent. Sister Marilyn Ingram was born in April of 1918 in Oklahoma.

She would later move to Santa Maria, and eventually oversee the planning and construction of the current hospital. Ingram was 92. Funeral services are planned at the Marian Convent Chapel for Monday, September 6th at 7 p.m.
