Medical marijuana dispensaries topic of Morro Bay's City Council meeting

Medical marijuana dispensaries will be one of the topics discussed at Monday night's city council meeting in Morro Bay.

The council will consider an amendment to establish regulations and procedures to medical marijuana collectives. Morro Bay has long been the center of a controversial case that gained national attention.

Last year, Charles Lynch was convicted on five federal charges for running a medical marijuana dispensary in Morro Bay. He was sentenced to spend a year and a day behind bars.
