The Cal Poly campus will take time to remember a student who officers believe took his own life last week.

20-year-old Charles Tamae was found dead by his friends near Cerro San Luis Friday afternoon. He was reported missing by his roommates after he hadn't been seen for several days.

A public memorial service is planned to take place at 7:30 p.m. Monday, in the Chumash Auditorium on the Cal Poly campus. Pastor Jana Schofield from Mt. Carmel Lutheran is expected to lead the service.
