Whether you ride a motorcycle, moped, scooter, car, skateboard, bicycle or horse, the gang behind a memorial ride next weekend in Templeton says your welcome. It's all to remember Brett Oswald, a CHP officer who was killed last summer by a drunk driver in Paso Robles while he was responding to a stranded motorist.
The event is Saturday, June 30th. Registration is 8:00 am to 9:00 am at Gary Bang Harley Davidson in Atascadero. From 9:00 to 9:30 am there will be a commemoration to Oswad's Legacy. The ride to his memorial is from 9:30 am to 10:00 am. From 10:00 to noon there's Poker Run, and from noon to 5:00 p.m. there will be live entertainment including a raffle, slow drag races, and wine tasting. That all happens at Templeton County Park at 250 6th Street @ Crocker in Templeton.
Tickets are $15.00 for adults which includes lunch and one raffle ticket. The kids menu is $5.00
For the Poker Run, the first hand is $10.00 with additions hands $5.00 each. Proceeds will be donated to CHP 11-99 Foundation and SLO LEAF.
