Memorial scholarship fund set for Dr. Damian Horstman

A memorial fund has been set up for the children of a Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center doctor killed yesterday while riding his bike in San Luis Obispo. Dr. Damian Horstman's was chair of the anesthesia department and vice-chief of staff. He was riding his bike on Ontario Road at South Higuera Street in San Luis Obispo when the CHP says he pulled into the path of semi-truck.
Horstman was 39-years-old and leaves behind a wife and two children. If you'd like to donate to a scholarship fund for the 2 and 4-year-old children, you can do so by check or walking into any Founders Community Bank Branch. Checks should be made payable to "The Damian Horstman Memorial Fund" and should be sent to: Founders Community Bank. 863 Marsh St. San Luis Obispo, CA 93401.
