A memorial service for a fallen local Navy pilot is set for Saturday.
Lieutenant Commander Landon Jones was killed while serving overseas.
A ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at Lompoc Foursquare Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for his children.

He worked in Search and Rescue, combat missions, and he supported Special Force operations.
