This weekend the Central Coast will say goodbye to an inspirational Cayucos woman, whose spirit and optimism captured our hearts.
44 year old Jodi Fisher lost her battle with cancer on March 17. Her story grabbed our attention when she went around selling free ice cream in Cayucos as part of her bucket list, or "fun list" as she called it.
Dreams became reality, when she went on to meet President Barack Obama during his trip to San Francisco. One week later, she was a guest on the Ellen Show.
Jodi's funeral service Saturday at 11:00 a.m., at the Cayucos Cemetery. The family asks for only close friends to attend.
