'Mini-Darth Vader' leaves hospital after open heart surgery

Pint-sized Darth Vader is home resting today.

Seven-year-old Max Page, who played a mini-Darth Vader in a popular Volkswagen commercial, is recovering from open-heart surgery.

He underwent a two-hour operation on Thursday to replace his pulmonary valve.

Max had undergone six previous surgeries for a congenital heart defect.

"If this goes worldwide, go worldwide... cause everybody does so much for me. I just want to say thank you. You guys are so good. You are the best. Come on, let's give them the force," said Max at a news conference before heading home as he then took a Darth Vader pose.

Doctors hope this will be his last major surgery.
