LOS ANGELES (AP) - A minor earthquake with a preliminary 3.8-magnitude has rattled the greater Los Angeles area, but no damage or injuries have been reported.
Randy Baldwin, a geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey in Golden, Colo., says about 600 people have so far reported they felt the quake, which happened at 3:18 a.m. PDT. The epicenter was about two miles east of Marina del Rey, and about 12 miles from the Los Angeles Civic Center. He says they have had no reports of injuries or damages.
