Minor delays expected on part of Highway 1 in Cambria, San Simeon

Drivers in the San Simeon area can expect some minor delays over the next few weeks.
Test rolling will begin Monday along a 1,000-foot section of Highway 1 in the Cambria and San Simeon area.
The test is part of a continuing partnership between Caltrans and U.C. Davis to find an effective and affordable way to make cycling a smoother experience along part of Highway 1.
During the daytime work, drivers can expect 10 to 15 minute delays and one-way reversing traffic control.
The first phase of the test is expected to be completed in May.
