The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a missing man.

Sheriff's officials say Harold Slagle, 81, disappeared from Nipomo yesterday morning.

His wife told investigators the two recently moved to the area from West Covina.

She said Slagle took his suitcase and drove off in a red 1998 Dodge Dakota.

His credit card has since been used in Santa Barbara County and San Gabriel.

Slagle's wife says he was recently diagnosed with early onset dementia.
