Cal-Hi Sports, which is part of ESPNHS, released the second installment of State Rankings for boys and girls basketball on Thursday.

The Mission Prep girls remained the top ranked team in California in Division 5. The Mission Prep boys stayed at number nine in the state among boys teams at the D-5 level, while the Arroyo Grande girls remained just outside of the top ten in Division 3.

The Mission girls finished the regular season 24-1 and riding a 21 game winning streak. The Royals have outscored their opponents by an average of almost 19 points per game. Seniors Jenna Dunbar, Bri Harvey and Kaylee Williams are all averaging at least 11 points per game this season.

The Mission Boys will take a 21-5 record into the postseason. The Royals are led by Cal Poly-bound Zach Allmon and Connor Woolpert, who are averaging a combined 30 points per game.

The AG girls have won 12-straight games themselves. The Eagles are 19-5 overall and a perfect 11-0 in PAC-7 play with one league game to play on Friday. Arroyo Grande has already wrapped up its fourth league title in the last five years.
