Second ranked Mission Prep improved to 3-0 with a 47-6 win against St. Genevieve. The Royals scored 20 points in the first eight minutes to quickly take control of their home opener. The loss drops St. Genevieve, from Panorama City to 2-1.
Mission Prep senior quarterback Tyler Baty was 13-16 passing for 304 yards and four touchdowns. The first touchdown strike was a 44 yarder to Joey Hall on the second play of the game. Hall, also a senior had four catches for 144 yards and three touchdowns.
The Royals have now outscored their opponents 134-27 this season. Next week they play in Newport Beach at 0-3 Sage Hill.
