A Connecticut mother is behind bars after police say she went on vacation and left her daughter behind.

Michelle Kasseris was in court Tuesday, accused of leaving her 11-year-old home alone while she was allegedly visiting her boyfriend in Florida.

Kasseris is being held on $25,000 bond.

Her daughter is now living with her father.
