A group of Tibetan monks are wrapping up their visit to the Central Coast.
On Friday, they finished their last sand mandala at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria.
A sand mandala is a piece of art made of colored sand. The monks have made several during their visit, and they spend days on each piece. But when they're done, they destroy them to demonstrate how nothing lasts forever.
The monks began their trip in Paso Robles and worked their way through San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria.
The Central Coast was just one of two places they chose to visit during their California tour.
