Coffee drinkers in Atascadero were "paying it forward" in a random act of kindness Wednesday morning.

One good deed started a chain reaction at the Starbucks drive-thru in Atascadero's Von's shopping center. A customer paid for the coffee of the car behind them and the charity continued on 115 cars.
Even the last car in line found a way give a little.
"The woman in front of me paid for my coffee, so I was the last in line so I just gave my money to the Starbucks baristas for a tip," said Fred Abler of Atascadero.
The manager at this Starbucks location said she's seen it happen before, but she's never seen so many people participate.
