Santa Barbara County Animal Services is in need of bird food after a major animal bust over the weekend.
Animal Services says it seized 445 animals, mostly birds, from a home on West Camino Cielo in Santa Barbara, with help from the Santa Barbara Humane Society.
Employees were aware of issues at the location but made the bust after an anonymous tip came in.
The animal services shelter is currently set up to house 2 to 3 birds, not 400.
It says donations of chicken, turkey and game bird food are extremely helpful.

The case is now headed for the district attorney's office.
Animal services says no arrests were made.
