The Morro Bay City Council on Thursday approved a separation agreement with City Manager Andrea Lueker. She has been placed on administrative leave and her last day with the city will be January 3.
City officials say Lueker will receive a settlement of nine months salary plus her leave balances.
Mayor Jamie Irons says Administrative Services Director Susan Slayton will act as city manager while the city searches for an interim city manager.
Lueker's departure follows several months of meetings regarding her employment and the employment of former City Attorney Robert Schultz. His last day with the city was November 15. He also left after reaching a separation agreement with the city council.
City officials have not said why Lueker and Schultz were told to leave.
