Morro Bay City Council votes to spend money on legal counsel

It was another heated meeting in Morro Bay tonight as the council once again discussed the potential disiplinary actions against two long-time employees.

Mayor Jamie Irons had asked for a closed meeting a week and a half ago to discuss the firing of city manager Andrea Leuker and City Attorney Rob Shultz. It prompted a lot of uproar by supporters of the two employees. Tonight the council voted to spend about $12-thousand dollars for legal advice regarding the future of the employees.
