We're going to start the day today with fog in many areas, but it'll be clearing by late morning. That will leave us mostly sunny around the Central Coast during the lunchtime hours. The coastline and beaches will continue to clear out this evening and that'll set us up for some cold overnight temperatures. In fact inland, we'll flirt with freezing temperatures for the next several nights, so be sure to bring in your pets and cover plants you don't want killed in the frost.
Tomorrow, we'll see almost a carbon copy of today's weather-highs mostly in the low to upper 50s, except on the south coast, where Santa Barbara and Goleta should break into the low 60s.
Tomorrow evening, we'll see the rain showers returning and they'll likely extend into the weekend, with the bulk of the precipitation on Saturday. Sunday, we'll see the sun return and stick around into the early part of next week for your New Year's celebrations.
