PINE GROVE, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say the bodies of a missing Amador County woman and her daughter have been discovered in an icy pond.

The Amador County Sheriff's Office says divers recovered the bodies of 46-year-old Karen Anderson and her 5-year-old daughter Noelle Arago on Wednesday about 30 feet from the pond's edge.

The Sacramento Bee reports (http://bit.ly/WjCcWL) that deputies responded to reports of a loose llama in the neighborhood Monday and couldn't find anyone at the owner's home.

On Tuesday neighbors called again to say the home's residents were still not around, and that there was a hole in the property's iced-over pond.

Detectives said dogs alerted near the pond, and a dive team on Wednesday was called in and found the bodies.

Authorities said there was no evidence of foul play.
