Local motorcyclists rode from Atascadero to San Miguel today to help the fight against cancer.

The bikers started this morning at the Veteran's Memorial in Atascadero and rode to Station Three Coffee in San Miguel.

The event was hosted by Team Camp Roberts.

"I personally am a military veteran and cancer survivor, and its my honor to participate in events like this in order raise money to work on a cure for cancer," says Bill Parsonage, a Cancer survivor.

Organizers expect to raise about $3,500.
