Motorhome fire in Arroyo Grande

The Five Cities Fire Authority responded to a motorhome fire early Friday morning. According to the driver of the RV, the fire began after the motorhome backfired while he was attempting to start the engine. Before he knew it, the entire camper was engulfed in flames.
Both the driver and his passenger were able to exit the motorhome without injury.
The fire was put out but the motorhome was a total loss.
