Movie-making camps for kids and adults start next week

Always wanted to direct or produce your own movie? Intrigued by Hollywood and the process of making movies? Well adults can now get in on the fun of move-making seminars sponsored by SLO International Film Festival. And kids can keep busy doing their own versions as well.

The film festival has added the adult seminars to their workshops that happen later this month. The youth workshops begin next Monday, July 9th.

The SLO Film Fest gang is also doing its Movie in a Day Marathon which is normally part of the film festival. It's a "race" to make the best 5-minute film in only seven hours, from initial concept to finished film. That's scheduled for July 20 and 21 (youth and adult competitions) with a group screening and prizes on July 22.
