Trayvon Martin murder suspect George Zimmerman has a new website that's been launched by his defense attorney.
Zimmerman's attorney first acknowledges on the new website that it's pretty unusual for a criminal defendant to maintain a presence online. But, he says, this is an unusual case. He then makes it clear, they won't be discussing details of the case, but, he says, it's important to for the public to have a way to separate fact from fiction.
The Mark O'Mara law group confirms this site is the real deal, calling it a place where people can get information and even ask questions.
This new site comes after Friday's hearing, in which O'Mara disclosed to the judge that Zimmerman had raised over $200,000 through his previous personal website.
According to this new site, O'Mara confirms they are planning on taking online donations for Zimmerman's defense as soon as they're approved to do so.
