A local museum is having their golden anniversary, and they invited the community to come and celebrate with them on Sunday.
It's the Morro Bay Museum of Natural History's 50th anniversary.
Special events included treasure hunts and crafts, puppet shows, and walks to Morro Rock.
The museum also offers many ongoing activities and interactive exhibits including a sea otter "show and tell," tide pools, and treasure hunts.
The museum is located at 20 State Park Road in Morro Bay.
