People had a chance to dust off their old guitars on Saturday to benefit others in the community.

Grand Central Music and Conservatory hosted a Holiday Open House.

The event celebrated the store's one-year anniversary at its current location and featured food, live music, and other holiday deals.

There was also a special guitar stringing event with proceeds benefiting the Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County.

The store offered $10 guitar stringing for the first 50 guitars, with all of the proceeds going to the food bank.

All the guitar strings were donated by the Ernie Ball Company.

The store is located at 659 Tank Farm Rd. in San Luis Obispo.
