The Mustangs received 1,930 points in the media poll and 378 points in the coaches poll.
North Dakota State, which won its second straight national title Saturday to finish 14-1 overall, finished atop both national polls. Sam Houston State, which finished as national runner-up for the second year in a row, finished as the #2 ranked team.
Eastern Washington finished fourth and Montana State fifth in both polls. Northern Arizona ended at #20 to give the Big Sky four teams in the top 20.
