Mustangs hold off Cal State Fullerton, 69-65

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Poly got a career-high 17 points from Nwamaka Ofodu and held off visitng Cal State Fullerton 69-65.

The Mustangs raced out to a 16 point first half advantage, but led by just two points at the half. The Titans tied the game early in the second half, but Cal Poly was able to weather the storm.

Senior Molly Schlemer had 12 points to go with a team-high 9 rebounds and Jonae Ervin added 18 points and 8 assists.

The Mustangs remain unbeaten at home this season, improving to 7-0 at the Mott Athletics Center.

Cal Poly is now 10-8 overall, 4-1 in Big West play. The Mustangs host UC Riverside on Saturday afternoon.
