Mustangs top Central Connecticut St., Even Record at 2-2

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The Cal Poly Women's Volleyball team earned an impressive three set victory over Central Connecticut State on Friday.

The match was the opener to the Sacramento State Invitational for the mustangs, who improved to 2-2 on the season with the win.

Poly came out of the gates red-hot and hit a blistering .416 for the match. They recorded 48 kills and just 11 errors on the night.

Chelsea Hardin led the mustangs with 13 kills, while Megan McConnell chipped in with 10 kills in the win.

Cal Poly continues play in the Sacramento State Invitational on Saturday in a double header. They take on San Jose State in the afternoon, before a match with the host hornets.
