Name of victim released in Arroyo Grande fatal accident

Twenty-year-old Alicia Renee Carreras from Arroyo Grande was found dead in her car early Thursday morning.
Investigators believe at about 3:00 a.m. Thursday, the woman veered off of Stanton Rd. in Arroyo Grande, and crashed into the tree near Lyn Rd. Carreras wasn't found until about 5:20 a.m., when a passing driver saw the crash and alerted authorities. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
CHP investigators say they do not believe alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, but they're waiting for toxicology results to confirm that.
