Narcotics investigators are looking into an apparent explosion at a San Luis Obispo mobile home that went up in flames this evening. Neighbors say the explosion happened around 6:30 this evening and by the time firefighters could get there it was destroyed. Investigators say no one was home at the time and no one was injured, but they are talking to people connected to the home.

Sources tell us they suspect someone was using the property as a marijuana conversion lab. That is when people use torches and other equipment to extract hash oil from marijuana plants. That oil has a higher TCH level and users consume it in various ways, including smoking, vaporization, or orally for a high more intense than marijuana.
