H-HEALTHY LIVING

Need better sleep? Go camping

If you're looking for better sleep, you may find it in the middle of the woods.

Researchers at the University of Colorado-Boulder had 8 people spend a week camping in the Rocky Mountains. Some were admitted night owls, while others were morning people.

After a week with only the rise and setting of the sun as their primary light source, all 8 participants synched their internal biological clocks.

If a week in the wilderness isn't doable, experts say you can help mimic this effect by dimming lights at night and cutting out late-night TV and personal electronic device usage.
