Scientists say they've confirmed that a new strain of bird flu may be resistant to anti-viral drugs, like Tamiflu.
Chinese researchers swabbed 14 patients with the H7N9 virus, which has already killed 36 people. In the majority of patients, Tamiflu reduced the amount of the virus.
But in three more severe cases, the drug did not affect the virus. Experts say Tamiflu is still the best treatment option.
