New child development center in the works

A new child development center is in the works at Vandenberg Air Force Base.
A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Wednesday.
Among those who spoke at the event, Democrat and U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer.
The $12.5 million dollar facility will increase the number of daycare slots.
Construction is expected to start on the new child development center in the next few weeks.
It's expected to wrap up in the fall of next year.
