New Craft Distillery opens on the Central Coast

The Central Coast has a new Craft Distillery, and it's the first legal, full service one that's opened in Santa Barbara County since Prohibition.
Ascendant Spirits in Buellton had its grand opening Saturday. The distillery released a handmade bourbon and special Spring moonshine.
The president of the company says they picked the location because the Central Coast produces some of the world's best grapes, which means better whisky.
Ascendant Springs is located on Industrial Way just off Highway 101.
