New Frontiers in San Luis Obispo has been sold to Whole Foods. Employees were told of the sale this morning. The stores will continue to operate under the New Frontiers Natural Marketplace banner until they are re-signed as Whole Foods Market stores. As part of the agreement, Whole Foods Market will offer jobs to all team members at the four acquired locations
Four stores were involved in the sale, including the New Frontiers in Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff, Arizona. The New Frontiers in Solvang was not involved in this sale. The two companies expect the transaction to be finalized in the next few weeks. KSBY will have more on this developing story tonight on KSBY at 5 and 6.
