Researchers at Pennsylvania State University found, in a recent study, that women who have depression are more likely to excessively worry about their infants at night.

They were also more likely to check on their infants multiple times, which caused an increase in night waking among these babies.

Experts say that the disruption of sleep for both mothers and their children could ultimately have negative effects on their relationship in the future.
