Increasing the fiber in your diet could decrease your risk for stroke.
A new study out of the UK looked at eight studies that examined the link between fiber intake and stroke. It found for every seven grams of fiber a person eats, the risk of suffering a stroke went down percent.
Seven grams is equivalent to a cup of whole wheat pasta or two servings of fruit or vegetables
