Nineteen area teams ranked in CIF Polls this week

For the second week in row, the boys basketball team from St. Joseph and the Valley Christian girls basketball squad, are the highest ranked squads from the Central Coast. The Knights are ranked #3 in their division, while the Lions stayed at #2 in the latest wave of CIF coaches polls that came out on Monday. In all, nineteen Central Coast teams are ranked this week.

The Morro Bay girls basketball teams climbed a four spots in the polls to #8 to represent the biggest jump in the last week.
