Efrain Navarro scored the only goal of the game in the Nipomo boys soccer team's 1-0 win at Cabrillo on Tuesday afternoon. The win improved the Titans' record to 6-3-2 in Los Padres League play and eliminated the Conquistadores from contention for the CIF playoffs.

The Conqs fell to 4-5-2 in league as they continued to struggle in the second half of LPAL matches.

Navarro scored in the 75th minute on a goal assisted by Caleb Doane. Jason Alvarado made 7 saves in goal for the Titans.

Morro Bay beat Lompoc 3-2 to improve to 6-4-2 in league and snap a four game skid.

Santa Ynez has already clinched the outright LPL title. Nipomo plays at Santa Ynez on Thursday, while Morro Bay battles Cabrillo in their league finales.
