Nipomo sweeps Lompoc in LPL match, stays in second place

The Nipomo High girls volleyball team swept Lompoc on the road on Tuesday in a Los Padres League match. The Titans won 25-18, 25-13 and 25-23 to improve to 11-1 overall and 4-1 in LPL play.

Cristina Ozzimo passed out 24 assists, recorded 3 aces and fired off 7 kills. Taylor Nevitt led the Titans with 13 kills, while Kiana Worth added 7. Sarah Stahl led Nipomo with 23 digs.

The Titans kept pace with Santa Ynez, each team has one league loss. Templeton had the night off. The Eagles are 5-0 in league play with a home match against Santa Ynez set for Thursday night.
