No arrests at DUI checkpoint

There were no DUI arrests at the Santa Maria Police Department's DUI checkpoint Saturday night.

It was held in the 400 block of East Main Street from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

990 vehicles passed through the checkpoint.

Two drivers were evaluated for DUI, two were cited for driving on a suspended license, and one passenger was cited for having an open container.
