No arrests made at DUI checkpoint on Cal Poly campus

The University Police Department at Cal Poly says no arrests were made at a DUI checkpoint Saturday night.

The checkpoint was held on Grand Avenue near the R2 parking lot from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.

One driver was evaluated for DUI. He was cited for driving without a license and being under 21 while having a blood alcohol concentration over .01%. He was not arrested.

728 cars passed through the checkpoint.
