No increased cancer risk found for IVF patients

A new study finds women undergoing in vitro fertilization do not face an increased risk for breast or ovarian cancer.
Researchers studied the medical records of more than 60,000 women who underwent IVF and compared them to women who never had the procedure.
They could not find an increased risk for breast or endometrial cancer among those who had IVF.
They found a slight increased risk for ovarian cancer, but say that could be due to chance.
