If you're in the mood for a good dose of hometown holiday spirit, You may want to head to San Miguel this Saturday night. It's San Miguel light parade. For a small community, they do a wonderful parade down the main drag.
There's a vendor fair that starts at 2, then a chili cook-off at four. The parade begins at 6. For more information, click here.
And Santa and his elves will be at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero on Saturday delivering gifts to the animals. The fun starts at 11 Saturday morning and goes until about 1. And kids can make a holiday ornament while they're there to take home, plus enjoy free hot chocolate. For more information check out my blog on ksby.com.
