A series of low pressure troughs will move across the area and bring below normal temperatures through the weekend. There is a slight chance of showers in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties through Friday, mainly near the Monterey County line.
A larger and much colder system has the potential to bring around an inch of rain this weekend as well as low elevation snow to all areas over the weekend.
Tonight, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with a 20 percent chance of rain, mainly in northwest San Luis Obispo County. Lows will be in the 40s to lower 50s with southwest winds around 15 mph in the evening.
Wednesday, mostly cloudy skies with a 20 percent chance of rain around northwest San Luis Obispo County. Expect highs in the upper 50s to mid 60s with south winds around 15 mph in the afternoon.
